Note on the Disposal of Waste Batteries
The following note applies to end users who use batteries or products with built‑in batteries:
Free Take‑Back of Waste Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return waste batteries in order to ensure proper disposal. You may return waste batteries to a municipal collection point or to a local retailer. As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back waste batteries; however, our take‑back obligation is limited to waste batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our own product range. Waste batteries of the aforementioned type may therefore be returned to us, sufficiently prepaid, at the following address:
Rugged‑IT GmbH
Clara‑Fey‑Str. 2

Meaning of the Battery Symbols
For batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury by mass, more than 0.002% cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004% lead by mass, the chemical designation of the respective hazardous substance is shown below the crossed‑out bin symbol.
In this context, “CDN” stands for cadmium, “Pb” stands for lead, and “Hg” stands for mercury.
